Welcome to Your Community for MEP Guidance

When you have questions about MEP issues you deal with day to day, where do you go? Your co-workers? Your boss? The internet? Where do you find the SOLUTIONS?

Actually, you now have a wealth of information right at your fingertips!

TES' new "Sharing our Guidance" Web community was created to provide you with the solutions and answers to questions that come across your desk on a daily basis. In fact, much of the content in this web community was developed by YOU. That’s right! We’ve harvested the MEP issues from phone calls, emails, tenant plan reviews, and of course our own construction experience over the years, and organized this information to be easily accessed and understood.

So in a sense, this is YOUR web community! We hope you'll find it helpful, and we need your comments to be sure that it meets your needs. Please let us know what additional information would you like to see and how can we improve the site.

Take a moment to look around. You're in the site now. There are three ways to get here:

  • By clicking [read more] on a newsletter article (they are all posted here);
  • By clicking on the [Sharing our Guidance] link at the bottom right of your newsletter; or
  • By going to www1.tesengineering.com (we hope you'll put this in your Favorites).

As you click through the horizontal navigation at the top of this page, you’ll notice that each menu item is a specific discipline. When you click on one, it brings up a list of subjects in that discipline along the left side of the Web portal; click on these links to read articles or presentations on each subject. We are continuing to add to these lists of topics, so check back often. Or, use the "Input/feedback" button at the top of the page to request that a specific topic be added!  And don’t forget the “Help Desk” button that's next to it. This is another available free service that enables you to get guidance on routine MEP questions you may have.

The Search box in the upper right offers an additional means of finding information on a topic, which is especially useful if you're not sure of the category under which it would be listed. To search the entire site, be sure to first click on the MEP Community button in the horizontal navigation; otherwise, the tool will search the section you're in. For example, if you're in Electrical and don't see the topic you want in the left navigation list, try the Search feature to look for, say, "transformers." Articles in the Electrical section with information on transformers will be displayed. As with any search tool, try different words if you're not getting any matches. If you can't find information on the topic you need, again, please contact us to suggest that we create an article (and we can provide the answers you need immediately).

For information on TES Engineering and its services, click on the "Home" button at the top left. To return to "Sharing our Guidance," just use the back button.

If you're visiting this site to read an article in your newsletter, simply click the X in the upper right of your screen to return to it.

Our daily interaction with all of you, which we continue to enjoy a great deal, has driven the creation of "Sharing Our Guidance." So, never hesitate to call us, as your questions will continue to build your unique Web community. Happy surfing!
